The paper model shown here is one of eight actual home designs offered by the nonprofit organization, Greater Minnesota Housing Fund, as a part of its Building Better Neighborhoods (BBN) program. Since the BBN program began in 1998, 20 cities in Greater Minnesota have begun building BBN affordable neighborhoods in their communities.

GMHF serves Greater Minnesota with funding and technical assistance for the creation of affordable housing. GMHF concentrates efforts in areas of economic vitality; where jobs are growing and housing shortages need to be addressed to meet the needs of working families and to further economic growth. GMHF seeks to work directly with local communities, employers, builders and state and local public agencies to address housing shortages through a wide array of strategies and partnerships.
