Enzo Ferrari was a racing-car designer born in Modena, Italy. He became a racing car designer in 1920 with Alfa-Romeo. In 1929, he founded the Ferrari Car Company and was its president until 1977. In 1940 he began designing his own cars. Since 1951, the marque has won neatly 100 of over 400 Grand Prix races in which they competed.
